I have just finished a tri fold see through card with the beautiful 3d hibiscus die set.
- Card base – two 51/2 X 41/4 inch neenah solar crest 110lb top folding cardstock to make tri fold card. .
- Background – 3d hibiscus die cuts colored with altenew inks and watercolors finished with touch of black copic marker and silver shimmer pen.
- Sentiment – congratulations stamp from the altenew leaf canopy stamp set stamped with versafine black ink.
- Envelope – yellow colored envelope.
Die cut the two sizes of the hibiscus flowers along with the leaves.
Color them using blush, pinkslicious, rubellite altenew inks. Blush ink cube ran dry. So I switched to using watercolors. Color the leaves with teal core and fresh lemon altenew inks. Once dry glue the layers together using liquid glue.
Arrange the colored leaves and flowers to come up with a layout and glue them at the intersections using liquid glue. I also glued base die cut layers at the bank to sandwich the strengthen the card.
Attach it to one of the card base with one flap trimmed to half inch. Trim the excess flowers that are poking out. Glue the other card base to form a tri fold card.
Stamp the sentiment with black ink on a white strip of cardstock and glue it on top of the card.
Add few black accents to the flowers using black copic marker to tie the sentiment and flowers together.
